Faster Support
In addition to more frequent occurrences of information and support sessions over the summer, WTS has dedicated staff to help you get answers faster over the summer months. Whether you are transitioning to an alternative solution or migrating your content to an OWL Brightspace course, you’ll find the experience to be quicker than if it takes place during peak teaching and learning months.
Migration Requests - Faster Response
Project sites eligible for migration to OWL Brightspace will receive faster responses on eligibility and assisted migration support, and more time to plan the move to OWL Brightspace!
Time to Learn
Starting the process now means more time to learn about available centrally supported alternative solutions, and in some use cases, gives a longer runway to find additional solutions if needed.
It also gives you the option to work in parallel, trialling the alternative solutions or if you've migrated to OWL Brightspace, to learn more about new tools, while you still have access to OWL Sakai. This will allow more time to adjust workflows, so when Sakai access is removed on April 30, 2026, it’s a seamless adjustment.
