About the OWL Migration Plan
Online Western Learning (OWL) is Western’s online learning management system. Western uses OWL to manage and deliver undergraduate, graduate, and Continuing Studies courses, and training across the university.
The selection of a new learning management system represents a significant investment by Western in the future of teaching and learning for over 40,000 students and thousands of instructors and staff, and supports the strategic goals outlined in Western’s strategic plan, Towards Western at 150, specifically in the areas of:

Western has selected D2L's Brightspace to power the next generation of the university's learning management system (LMS)! OWL Brightspace provides Western with:
